3rd Saturday (random topic), March 2025: Pet peeves, sticking points, and pushed buttons

Hello, dear readers! Today, I embarked on a little adventure that I like to call the "Third Saturday of March." It’s a day dedicated to diving into random topics, and today’s theme was all about pet peeves, sticking points, and those pesky buttons that people push.

As I settled in, I felt the need to cleanse the space with some sage and Palo Santo. There’s something about the aroma that just sets the stage for reflection and gratitude. I took a moment to appreciate the good vibes before diving into the topic at hand.

Now, let’s talk about those pet peeves. You know, those little things that just stick in your craw and refuse to budge? I reminded myself that these annoyances often say more about the other person than they do about me. It’s easy to get caught up in our heads, thinking that someone’s words or actions are a reflection of who we are. But I encouraged myself (and you!) to remember: we’re all just people doing our best.

I drew inspiration from the wisdom of the Four Agreements, particularly the idea of not taking things personally. It’s a powerful reminder that we don’t have to wear the negativity of others like a badge. Instead, we can choose to focus on the positive aspects of ourselves—the things our favorite people tell us are true.

In that moment, I decided to take a little time for hibernation—not the kind where I curl up under a blanket, but a mental and emotional preparation to rise above those sticking points. I encouraged myself to hype up my own worth and put it out into the universe. Yes, I’m something special! I’m worth spending time with, and I deserve to celebrate that.

As I reflected, I envisioned a beautiful horizon filled with hope and creativity. I reminded myself to hold myself in high regard, regardless of what others might say. After all, if I can’t be my own biggest cheerleader, how can I expect anyone else to join in?

I wrapped up my thoughts by inviting everyone to join me in a chorus of hope, dignity, passion, and peace. It’s all about celebrating life and the beautiful moments we share.

As the timer lit up, signaling the end of our session, I took a moment to express gratitude for all the best that life has to offer. I made sure the Palo Santo was lit and ready to keep the good energy flowing.

So, here’s to embracing our pet peeves, rising above our sticking points, and learning to laugh at the things that push our buttons. Let’s keep the conversation going and support each other in this journey of self-discovery and joy. Until next time, let’s make music together and celebrate life!

With love and light,

Ryan

Okay, here we are, and thank you for joining me. It's third Saturday of March, 2025. Third Saturday is a random Internet topic. So here I have a number of random topics produced from a Google search. Random discussion topics. We're gonna pull discard the rest and let's reveal our random topic today for our reading is pet peeves, sticking points, and pushed buttons. You know those issues you just can't get around. Every time you think of them, they stick in you. Oh, something negative like this. We better dip into our sage. We better start with sage for all of the rest and really set our stage here with Palo Santo for gratitude for all of the best. Oh, gosh, that smells good. The two of them together. So let's get into it. Let's shuffle our cards. We'll. Well, what are we into today?

Why are we here? We're here for our random topic. Pet peeves, sticking points, pushed buttons. Oh, look, I'm marked with a little sage. What? Good luck. Okay, let's focus. Focus. Pet peeves, sticking points, pushed buttons. I think that's it. Okay. Oh, goody. Let's start our timer for a little bit of time. Oh, Right away. When I see this, I think, don't get stuck in our head. In our big, oversized heads. The things people do and say to us aren't indications about who we are. They're about who they are. Don't get stuck in our heads. Let's be free to remember we're all just people doing our best. Oh. Oh, man. I see this right away, and I hear the wisdom of the four agreements. Don't take it personally. We don't have to take it personally. These two definitely related, right?

Don't get a big head about it. It's not really about you. But also over here, don't take it personally. Don't wear it personally. The things people are saying to you, saying about you, they're worried about you. They're saying these things, and I don't want to get stuck in them. Let's look on the brighter side of things. Let's focus on the things that are true about us, the things we appreciate about ourselves. Let's celebrate the things about us that, oh, our favorite people tell us are true. Take this moment, and instead of hiding from people, let's take a moment to do a little bit of hibernating. Let's prepare ourselves mentally and emotionally to be stronger, brighter. Let's use all that thinking power to hype up ourselves. Let's put it out there to the universe. Hey, I'M something else. I'm pretty amazing.

I'm really something worth spending some time with. Yes, there we go. And in doing so, let's be our own mother of creativity and joy. Let's rise ourselves up above these issues. Let's look to the horizon. Let's paint a pretty beautiful picture of the sky. Gosh. Let's be confident. Let's hold ourselves in high regard no matter what others say about us. After all, if we can't be for ourselves, how can we expect anyone else to? Yes. Let's make music together. Let's celebrate. Let's enjoy our lives. Let's join together in a chorus of hope, dignity, passion, peace. Oh, there's our timer light. We're all done. Let's close it up by remembering. We say the palo santo is for the best. Oh, it's gratitude for all the best that life has to offer. We're so grateful, Palo Santo.

We're not gonna have like last week where we accidentally put the candle out. I know you're watching closely to see Kitty make it happen. Did that palo santo get lit? You better believe it. And look at that sage. We've been dealing with pet peeves. I guess we need a lot of sage. So I look forward to joining you later.
