5th Saturday (Reading Ryan for Ryan), March 2025: Things are good... go slow

For those of you who want to go right to the video, here you go:

⚫⚫⚫

Welcome back to another Saturday reading! This one is particularly special because it’s a fifth Saturday, and I decided to do something a little different. Instead of reading for someone else, I took the plunge and read for myself—right here in front of all of you on the Internet. Talk about putting myself out there!

To kick things off, I lit some Palo Santo wood, embracing gratitude for all the good things in life. I always joke that my life is a gift, and I truly believe that. After that, I burned some sage to clear the air and set the stage for what was to come. It’s a ritual that helps me focus my intention, and today, I wanted to share something meaningful with you all.

As I flipped over the first card, I immediately felt a connection. It spoke to me about the “best of times, worst of times.” I had received some good news earlier that day, but I was also aware that there was still work to be done. It reminded me of a conversation I had with my mother, where I shared my good news but also expressed my impatience for things to move faster. I could feel the weight of this card, urging me to acknowledge both the highs and the lows.

The second card I drew was a gentle reminder: “Don’t get too far ahead of yourself.” Oh boy, can I relate to that! I often find myself jumping to the end of the story, eager to see the good things coming my way. But this card encouraged me to slow down and be present in the moment. It was a nudge to remind myself that even when things are looking up, it’s essential to move forward with intention and mindfulness.

As I continued my reading, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the third card. It echoed the sentiment of the previous one: “Slow down, enjoy it for yourself.” I realized I often rush to share my good news, wanting to shout it from the rooftops. But this card was a clear message to take a breath, savor the moment, and think before I act. It was a playful reminder that sometimes, it’s okay to keep things close to my heart before sharing them with the world.

Finally, I drew a fourth card, which brought a wave of excitement. It spoke of new beginnings and the choices we get to make. I felt a surge of energy, reminding me that we have the power to shape our paths. But again, it urged me to pause before committing to anything new. It’s crucial to reflect on who we want to be and how we want to project ourselves into the world.

Speaking of new beginnings, I have some exciting news! Starting next month, the first Saturday will feature a video where I’ll dive deep into the insights of one card. I’m looking forward to exploring the imagery and feelings that arise from that single card and sharing it with you all. I hope you’ll join me on this journey!

As always, I’m grateful for your presence and support. If you’re interested in connecting further, consider making an appointment online. I can’t wait to share more insights and experiences with you. Until next time, take care and remember to slow down and enjoy the journey!

Welcome, welcome to another Saturday reading. This, of course, being a special fifth Saturday. And so we're going to return to the cards. But today's focus is going to be something very different. And that's going to be a reading for myself in front of the whole of the Internet. Let's start this off right with a little bit of burning of Palo Santa wood and gratitude. This is lighting. I'll tell you, this is going to be a very special reading because you have a lot of readers who actually won't read for themselves or don't around other people. And I've had people ask, oh, is that because you don't want your business out there? And I've said, no, no. It's actually just that you.

You know, my job as a reader is to interpret images and sensations I get during a reading for you to you and understand it. But when I pick up a card, I can almost tell it right away what it means for me. We started off with our Palo Santo gratitude for all the best things in life, and then we had our sage for all the rest of life. I always like to say that as a joke, but truly, my whole life is a gift, isn't yours? So let's turn our intention and our focus to this reading. I want something for myself that I can share with my Internet friends. Something that I'm willing to share with my Internet friends. Yeah. Because I'm still, you know, I'm still a person. Privacy still matters. But surely there's a lot I could share with you.

I think that's it right there. I believe that's it. So let's go ahead and start the timer after we flip a card over. Oh, boy. When I look at this right away, I get a feel for this thing. Best of times, worst of times, so little fun fact about me. I've had some good news today, but there's still work to be done. So I connect with this right away. Think about the good news I got and shared with my mother. I happen to be placing a phone call with her after, and I think of how there was good news, but things are still not moving as fast as I like. So I get this. I understand this. Maybe our next card has something to do about this challenge that comes. Okay.

So when I see this card right away, what I see is this idea. Don't get too far ahead of yourself. And that's true. Oh, I'm revealing a lot about me. I can really jump to the end of the story. You know, I want to be there I want to see good things coming and I want to get to there fast. Right. Are you like me that way? Maybe you see some good things happening, but you can't help but notice. Oh, man, things still aren't happening as fast as I want. I want to jump to. This is good. Literally, earlier in quiet time, had to remind myself that even as things get good, I want to move forward with intention. Gosh, the timer runs so much slower when I'm reading for myself. Let's have a. Let's have a third one.

Let's see if we can learn anything, any more about how to manage this good news we've got. Okay. It really is a lot of fun reading for myself, for other people. I would not normally even have to explain why this makes me laugh. Yes, Ryan, slow down, Take time, feel it for yourself before you go running through town telling everybody, look at me, look at my good news. Oh, my gosh, sounds like a hype video for good news. I have to share, but truly, it is a private matter that I'm working out. But I get it. You know, I can see exactly. This card is encouraging me to slow down, enjoy it for myself, be intentional, stop and think before I move, before I act. I see fingers here. Slow down before you run into the next thing. Thing really quick. One last card.

Ryan

Oh, yes. Oh, yes. We can have a good time. We are up for some exciting new things. We have to think about who we want to project and be. We get to make our choices. I'm seeing some things here with hands, with fingers. You know, I'm seeing a connection with. Slow down before I maybe even raise my hand to commit to something new. Okay, speaking of committing to something new, here's a little bit of news for you. I have decided to change the nature of the first Saturday. And so going forward, first Saturday of the month will come with a video. And the topic of the video is drum roll. One card. What one card says to me. I'll dive in deep with imagery of what I see here and feel about the one card.

05:33

Ryan

I'm hoping it'll be a really interesting insight into my practice. And speaking of practice, I hope you'll think of joining me soon. Making an appointment online, using your hands and fingers to connect there. And I look forward to connecting with you later. Bye.
